Old Blog posts

Reading some of my old stuff from my live journal – and I’m trying to determin what is worth keeping and what is worth porting over here. I think I’d like all my fan fiction and all my clips of work in one place… so I am most likely going to port it over here in some way shape or form. I’m just not sure how I want to do it yet. Should I set up a different blog for it, or should I link it up.

Always interesting when you are trying to figure out what to do with old stuff, isn’t it? I don’t want it to be gone for good, but where I don’t use LJ anymore I want to have it at my fingertips.

How do you guys keep old blog information?

Adventures of a Cat Owner

Normally I don’t post that personal of blogs – they are all writing or story related. This week though, I have had an experience that begs to be written about.

My 1 and a half year old kitty who was once a Feral Kitten is sick. Lethargic, not urinating properly, and as of this morning vomiting. Sick kitty pee and vomit has to be the most disgusting smells on the face of the earth. Yes, all our bed linens are currently being washed. You can imagine the scrubbing that went on in this house this morning.

We are assuming that Kit Cat (Tommy) has an urine infection. He was brought down to the vet this morning with much apprehension, for we cannot really afford the vet bill. We do not, however, want any animal in our house to be in pain. I’m anxiously cleaning and pacing the house hoping my baby is ok. Isn’t it funny, you don’t realize how attached you are to an animal until it isn’t in the house for a while. I’m missing Tommy dreadfully and counting down the hours until he comes home.

The next adventure is going to be neutering – which will probably have to wait until after the urine infection is cleared up.

Keep your fingers crossed for me today, friends. I believe that Tommy is in much pain, and I’m hoping its not to bad.
